Description
Once opened, multidose bottles should be stored between +2°C and +8°C. The vaccine is approved for use up to 28 days after opening the bottle, as determined by QMS. Reactions are usually mild and restricted to the injection site.
The vaccine is prepared by combining purified diphtheria toxoid and purified tetanus toxoid. The vaccine must be injected intramuscularly. The preferred injection site is the deltoid muscle. The vaccine is currently prequalified by WHO.
