Human Albumin

AlbuRel 20% contains human albumin, which is a protein found naturally in the blood. This medication is used to replace blood or body fluids that may be lost due to bleeding or surgery, or during kidney dialysis. Since AlbuRel™ 20% should only be administered in the hospital setting.

AlbuRel 20% has 20 g of human albumin in 100 mL of total solution. The amount and frequency of use of AlbuRel™ 20% will depend on the severity of your condition; and your doctor will decide. AlbuRel™ 20% should be kept out of reach of children, in refrigerator. DO NOT FREEZE. The bottle should be heated enough to reach room temperature before use.
