The vaccine is prepared from live, attenuated strains of Edmonston-Zagreb measles virus, Leningrad-Zagreb mumps virus (L-Z) and Wistar RA 27/3 rubella virus. Measles and rubella viruses spread in human diploid cells (DHCs) and mumps virus is grown in fibroblasts of egg chicks, free of specific pathogens (SPF). The product has the appearance of a yellowish-white dry tablet. The product complies with the requirements of the O.M.S.
Each human dose when reconstituted in a volume of 0.5 ml contains not less than 1000 CCID 50 particles of measles virus, 5000 CCID 50 of mumps virus and 1000 CCID 50 of rubella virus, the vaccine serves for active immunization against measles, rubella and mumps in children aged 12 months to 10 years.
